The movie Julie and Julia is only nine days away, and, as you may have already gathered from this post, I am more than a little excited. Hopefully, friend Molly and I will be happily seated in the theatre on release day, and then off for French food. Because this is an event for some of us. Foodies, fans of the divine Ms. Streep, Child devotees, those gratefully empowered and/or entertained by Julie Powell's endeavor - this movie appeals to many on many different levels.
So with whisk and copper bottoms at hand, ready yourself to cook (or at least eat) for this will be a great celebration of food. Find yourself inclined to dive in but found all the copies of Mastering the Art of French Cooking checked out of the library? (They have been - go ahead and check if you don't believe me.)
